Birdies for Charity

It is that time of the year to get the Birdies for Charity project underway. This is a great fundraiser to help the Illinois Jaycees and the local chapters make some money. It is a very easy project to do. Just need to get people to pledge .01 or more, turn in the pledge forms and that is it. The John Deere Charitable Foundation will send out all the billings after the Golf Tournament is over with letting you know how much you owe.

Our goal is to double the chapters that was involved last year. We had 5 chapters that are signed up in 2009.

After talking with President Kathy these are the POC point stucture we have come up with:

250 points - .01 - .20 cents of pledges collected
500 points - .21 - .40 cents of pledges collected
750 points - .41 - .60 cents of pledges collected
1000 points - over .61 cents of pledges collected
