Celebrate the second trimester September 10th - 12th, 2010 at the Holiday Inn Select Naperville Hotel & Conference Center. The Fall General Assmebly is hosted by the Bollingbrook Jaycees and is being held in Naperville, Illinois. Download the registration today!

We are offering all types of Jaycee and non Jaycee training and workshops as well as many fun activities and socials. We will also host Jaycee competitions of Speak Up, Writeup, Portfolio, Debate and Jeopardy on both Friday and Saturday. Download the agenda.

We are also having a few dynamic keynote speakers to help celebrate 90 years of the US Jaycees and all that we have accomplished so far.

The GA committee has negotiated a BYOB mixer on Friday evening. The US Jaycees are coming to join us for the fun at the Saturday evening mixer so lets show them how Illinois is Bringing on the 'Nois.Chris Fox aka "DJ Big Daddy" will be providing the music at the socials. In addition, there will also be a rock band competition so get your band together.

There is still time to register and reserve a room for the weekend. It is going to be a great time all weekend so please choose to stay at the hotel. And there is a special offer, if you reserve a room with your registration, the $10 late fee will be waived. Please send in your registration this week.

The agenda and training descriptions for the Saturday program are available to download from the document library. There is a variety of training and I am excited about our special presentation at 2:30. We are honored to have Illinois Jaycees Past Presidents Read Bradford (69-70) and Terry Vaughn (83-84), both dynamic speakers, to share their Jaycee experience and how we can make a Jaycee impact.

We will also have US Jaycee Partner NetSpray providing a seminar on social media and how you can get a free mini-bio.

A "Stockings for Soldiers" collection drive will be held during the GA. Bring your donations to the GA to show the troops how much they are appreciated by the Illinois Jaycees! A "fabulous prize" will be awarded to the chapter collecting the most donations. Please see the list below for suggested donation items. We are having the 19th Annual Olsen Golf outing to support the Illinois Jaycees Charitable Foundation Scholarship program on Friday, September 10th. Tee times start at 11am. The cost will be $70 which includes green fees, cart and food afterwards back at the hotel. We are also looking for hole sponsorships and/or individual sponsorship (please call).
