You definitely got some great information from keynote speaker Chaffee-Thanh Nguyen!  He talked about the Jaycee Mission and Vision, tribal marketing, and how to create a chapter of RAVING fans that are excited, energized, and ready to make an IMPACT!

The Chip program results in well rounded, healthy chapters. The requirements are designed to ensure that chapters offer balanced programming for its members. The Chip program is a guideline for a chapter’s yearly plan of action. This guideline will ensure that a chapter is a well balanced/well-rounded chapter. Blue Chip is for established chapters. Green Chip is for new extensions. Red Chip takes chapters from probationary status to full status.

This year’s TOYP Honors Program is being held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the
Springfield Hilton in conjunction with the Illinois Jaycees’ Spring General Assembly
Meeting. Nomination forms are due February 1, 2012. Forms will be available on the
Illinois Jaycees and Illinois JCI Senate Web sites.

Recipients are judged on how they have exemplified themselves in one or more of
the following fields of endeavor: personal improvement or accomplishments; financial
success and economic innovation; social improvement to major contemporary problems;
philanthropic contribution or voluntary service, politics or government service, scientific
or technical contributions, legal reform; cultural achievement; academic leadership or
accomplishment; moral and religious leadership; athletic accomplishment; and success
in the influence of public opinion. Also, in determining the recipients of this recognition,
the judges give particular consideration to each nominee’s record of adherence to the
principles embodied in the Jaycee Creed. Past winners include athletes, politicians,
teachers, volunteers, community leaders and clergy. Please, start looking for those who
serve in your community.

This event is generously supported by friends and employers of our award winners, local
and regional Jaycee organizations, JCI Senate organizations and Illinois businesses and

Step Up to celebrate the 3rd trimester and Year End awards.

Make An Impact and attend the great training taking place on Saturday. We will be offering local officer training which is great for any member who has taken a leadership position in their chapter or region in 2012. In addition, we will also have other trainings.
