Camp New Hope Fun Walk-Run

The Camp New Hope Second Annual 5/10K Run Walk will take place on March 31st at 9:30 AM followed by the 1 Mile Fun Run at 10:30 AM. The 5/10K course will take you around picturesque Lake Paradise. The 1 Mile Fun Run will take place on the trails of Camp New Hope. Check-In for ALL races will be held at Camp New Hope between 7:30 and 9:00 AM.
Lets support our favorite Camp! Receive 150 points for Parade of Chapters with each participating member, up to 450 points.

Cost to Participate:
1mi Fun Run is $5 (10:30 AM)
5k Walk or Run is $25
10k Walk or Run is $25

Registrations must be received by March 15th to be guarnteed a shirt. After March 15th, the cost goes up to $30 with no guarntee of a shirt.

Defending The Caveman

Defending The CavemanDefending The Caveman fundraiser and Area 1 social will be held Saturday, February 18th. The Area 1 Social will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Shoeless Joes.

TOYP 2012

This is the 47th year that the Illinois Jaycees have selected and honored outstanding
young people from throughout the state of Illinois. This year’s program represents the 28th
year for the Illinois JCI Senate to sponsor this event, on behalf of the Illinois Jaycees. The
Outstanding Young Person’s program has been run since 1965. The Illinois Jaycee Senate
has been hosting the program on behalf of the Jaycees since 1984.

This year’s TOYP Honors Program is being held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the
Springfield Hilton in conjunction with the Illinois Jaycees’ Spring General Assembly
Meeting. Nomination forms are due February 1, 2012. Forms will be available on the
Illinois Jaycees and Illinois JCI Senate Web sites.

Year-end GA

Register today for the Illinois Jaycees Year-end GA will be held January 27-29th in Decatur.

Step Up to celebrate the 3rd trimester and Year End awards.

Make An Impact and attend the great training taking place on Saturday. We will be offering local officer training which is great for any member who has taken a leadership position in their chapter or region in 2012. In addition, we will also have other trainings.

This GA is being hosted by the Gateway Region Jaycees. Save $15 by paying by check and sending in before the early registration deadline of 1/5/12. Email Sandi with questions on registration.
