Blue Chip Submissions

Chips program logoThe Chip program results in well rounded, healthy chapters. The requirements are designed to ensure that chapters offer balanced programming for its members. The Chip program is a guideline for a chapter’s yearly plan of action. This guideline will ensure that a chapter is a well balanced/well-rounded chapter. Blue Chip is for established chapters. Green Chip is for new extensions. Red Chip takes chapters from probationary status to full status.

Required in your initial submission is the following items:

  • 2012 Chapter Plan of Action
    • Chapter Officer Directory
    • Calendar Events
    • Chapter Budget
    • Membership Plan
  • Sign-in sheet from your chapter planning session
  • Copy of the following
    • Constitution & ByLaws
    • Chapter Incorporation
    • Liability Insurance

UN Millennium Development Goals

The Illinois Jaycees along with the US Jaycees have adopted the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) as its public policy platform for 2012.

The MDGs are 8 ambitious goals set by the United Nations to address some of the most pressing needs of the United States and the World.  

These include:

  1. Ending Poverty and hunger
  2. Universal Education
  3. Gender Equality
  4. Child Health
  5. Maternal Health
  6. Combat HIV/AIDS and other diseases
  7. Environmental Sustainability
  8. Global Partnership

In achieving these goals we will not only help ourselves, but will also make an IMPACT in the world.

The Tournament is ON!

Malaria Kills. Send a net. Save a life.Starting Jan 17th through April 30th, our goal is to have Each Chapter raise money to purchase 16 NETS for Nothing But Nets!

Each week, your will get a scoreboard report of your “Teams” standing.  16 weeks to raise $160.  Think of all the Lives you can save!

All “Teams” that meet or exceed the goal will win fabulous prizes!  Top Scoring Team wins a stellar prize!

1 Net= $10= Lives Saved!

Make An Impact in all that you do.

The Jaycees provides each of us opportunties to create positive change, meet a group of aggressive young people and take part in worthwhile projects.
